WATERWALK is a park enhancement designed to celebrate the richness of waterfront resources.
The exhibit amplifies the experience of walking along the waterfront. Engaging ceramic graphics describe aquatic wildlife and habitats and our relationship with the ocean.
WATERWALK stations are installed in the public park at eight sites along the Belt Parkway bordering the water. Each site features a different topic including local fishes and invertebrates, shipping and navigation, shore birds, and plankton and marine food webs.
WATERWALK provides accessible and relevant information inspiring park users to know and care about their environment.
